Returns

Below is a quick overview of all return and exchange guidelines for purchases made through Forstchoice Cabinets.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for credit, returned items must meet all of the following conditions:

The item must be unopened and in its original packaging

The item must be in undamaged condition

The item must be returned within 30 days of receiving the product

Our return policy is not applicable to international orders outside Canada.

Restocking Fee

All returns received within 30 days are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Items returned after 30 days will not be credited.

Credit Amount

Customers will be credited the full purchase amount, minus the applicable restocking fee.

Shipping Costs

Initial shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where Firstchoice Cabinets is at fault (e.g., incorrect or defective items received).

Customers choosing to return via delivery (shipping to store) are responsible for return shipping costs.

Refund Processing

Once you provide the package to the return shipper or an in-store representative, refunds are typically processed within 2–4 weeks.

How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, email us at firstchoicecabinet@hotmail.com within 30 days of receiving your product(s).

Return Options

  • In-Store Return: Bring the item(s) to our Markham store location.

  • Delivery to Store: Ship the item(s) to our store address(es).

Sale Merchandise

All sale and clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective or wrongly delivered item, please contact us at firstchoicecabinet@hotmail.com within 30 days.

Exchange Eligibility

  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and include all tags and packaging.

  • Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation) is required.

  • Firstchoice Cabinets reserves the right to inspect and verify defects before approving an exchange.

Exchange Methods

  • In-Store Exchange: Visit our Firstchoice Cabinets store.

  • Delivery to Store: Ship the item to us. Replacement items are shipped after we receive and verify the original item.

  • Firstchoice Cabinets covers shipping costs for defective/incorrect item exchanges when using the delivery option.

Out-of-Stock Situations

  • If the item is no longer available, customers may choose between:

  • An alternative product of equal value, or

  • A refund

Please note that customers must provide a correct shipping address at the time of purchase. Firstchoice Cabinets may refuse returns or exchanges that do not meet the policy criteria, and any customs fees or taxes incurred during the exchange process are the customer’s responsibility.
